How image changes work

Changing images on your Hands Free Sites website works through the same change request system as text changes. Describe what you want, and a preview is generated for you.

Requesting an image change

Use the change request feature in your dashboard. Be specific about:

• Which image — describe its location: "the hero image at the top of the homepage" or "the team photo on the About page"
• What you want — describe the new image or provide a URL

Example prompts

• "Replace the hero image with a photo of a modern kitchen renovation"
• "Change the team photo on the About page to show our updated team"
• "Add a photo gallery section with 4 images showing our recent work"
• "Remove the stock photo in the Services section and replace it with the image at [URL]"

Providing your own images

If you have specific images you want to use:

1. Upload them to a publicly accessible URL (Google Drive with sharing enabled, Imgur, Dropbox public link, etc.)
2. Include the URL in your change request
3. We'll download and embed the image into your site for you

Example with URL

"Replace the hero image with the photo at https://example.com/my-photo.jpg and make sure it fills the full width of the section"

Custom-made images

When you don't have a specific image, one can be created for you:

• "Add a professional-looking hero image of a modern dental office"
• "Create a background pattern for the services section in blue and white"

Blog posts written for you automatically include a custom-made hero image.

Image best practices

• Use high-resolution images — at least 1200px wide for hero images
• Prefer landscape orientation — most website sections are wider than they are tall
• Keep file sizes reasonable — large images slow down your site
• Use descriptive prompts — the more detail you give, the better the result
